These fittings are designed to fix leaky glue joints between tees, slice valves, or elbows and Schedule 40 PVC Pipe.
Repair fittings glue over the outer diameter of leaking fitting to bypass the leak connection.

These fittings are designed to permit the replacement of a leaking slice valve without replacing the mating fittings. They glue directly into the mating fittings after the valve is cut out (one side of the fitting fits into Schedule 40 pipe). A new slice valve can be glued onto the other side of the fitting (which is the same diameter as rigid Schedule 40 pipe).
