These fittings are designed to fix leaky glue joints between tees, slice valves, or elbows and Schedule 40 PVC Pipe. Repair fittings glue over the outer diameter of leaking fitting to bypass the leak connection. 6000-355, Repair Fitting (1.5")6000-356, Repair Fitting (2") These fittings are designed to permit the replacement of a leaking slice valve without replacing the mating fittings. They glue directly into the mating fittings after the valve is cut out (one side of the fitting fits into Schedule 40 pipe).
